2 - 3 years - one adult to four children. 4 - 8 years - one adult to six children. 9 - 12 years - one adult to eight children. 13 - 18 years - one adult to ten children.

Can a 10 year old watch 12?
Films classified 12A and video works classified 12 contain material that is not generally suitable for children aged under 12. No one younger than 12 may see a 12A film in a cinema unless accompanied by an adult.
According to the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), children below 17 years are not permitted to watch R-rated movies without adult supervision. That is due to the strong language used as well as the adult themes and activities that are characteristic of such films.
